Dansby Swanson of the Atlanta Braves tapped for advertising campaign with LGE Community Credit Union

Early in 2021 we were asked to do some portraits of Dansby Swanson for an advertising campaign that recently launched with LGE Community Credit Union. We created over 1000 images in the hour and half with Dansby. In that time he had 3 wardrobe changes, multiple props with each outfit, standing, sitting, smiling, grinning, laughing, etc.…. they wanted to have as much variety as possible. Southend Films carved out part of the soundstage they were using to shoot a commercial for our still campaign photos. They planned to shoot coverage shots on another set while we were shooting portraits, so they asked us to use continuous lighting. We have had a number of projects lately that are better suited for continuous lighting based on client’s requests, so that was no big deal. It still feels weird to not see strobes pop when I press the shutter.

Dansby was great to work with, and I hope we get to work together again. He has a great story about a piano recital.
