COCA-COLA x NASCAR | 2023
Commercial Advertising Photography & Production
Hales Photo was back on the track in Charlotte, NC, and this time we are sharing some fave’s from our photoshoot with Coca-Cola's Nascar Racing Team for the 2nd year in a row. It is a huge compliment to be asked to shoot this campaign the first time, and to be asked back again means even more. Thank you Coca-Cola Racing for having us back.
This isn't just any ordinary shoot, folks. We're talking about a high-speed, adrenaline-pumping production that captures the essence of what it means to be a Nascar driver. With talent like Daniel Suarez, Austin Dillon, Denny Hamlin, and 2022 Cup Series Champion Joey Logano, this shoot was destined for greatness. And now, Coca-Cola has just announced that Nascar's most popular driver of 2022, Chase Elliott, has joined the team in 2023.
Like any race, this shoot had its fair share of challenges. From unpredictable weather to limited time with the talent, the Hales Photo & Wild Dingo team had to think on their feet and make quick decisions to keep the shoot on track.
If you see any of these in the wild we would love for you to share them with us, and I will send you a gift. Check out billboards, lifesized cardboard cutouts, quick serve restaurant cups, USA Today, etc.
So buckle up and grab a refreshing Coca-Cola, because this is one ride you won't want to miss.
Every time a Coca-Cola Racing driver wins a premier race Coca-Cola takes out a full-page ad in USA Today. Al from Coca-Cola Racing presents Austin with his framed USA Today page for his 2022 win at the Coca-Cola Zero Sugar 400 during our shoot. Austin asked me to join him & Al in the photo since it was a photo we had taken the previous year.

Todd Burandt was set-up again this year inside with our mobile studio to get shots of the drivers on white, so they can be made into “Standees” (life size cardboard cut-outs that stand on their own).
